Strategic Intelligence

Big-picture threat intelligence about trends, actors, and risks at the level of months and years, that informs leadership decisions and strategy rather than day-to-day operations.

Strategic intelligence is the top altitude of the intelligence pyramid: trends in adversary behavior, sector-targeting shifts, geopolitical risk, and long-running campaigns shaping the threat landscape over months and years. It informs executive decisions on investment, posture, and strategy rather than alerts or detections. Recognizing strategic intelligence as distinct from operational and tactical intelligence is foundational to running a layered, useful threat-intelligence program for both SOC and leadership audiences.
