Multi-Framework Approach

Operating a compliance program under several frameworks at once, treating them coherently rather than separately by leveraging overlap and shared evidence, so the organization satisfies many obligations without duplicated effort.

Most organizations face several frameworks, so a multi-framework approach plans how to comply with all of them coherently: mapping overlapping controls, gathering evidence once and applying it across frameworks, and running audits in a coordinated way. Done well, this turns multiple compliance demands into a shared, efficient program rather than separate parallel efforts. It is a GRC-analyst-level discipline that depends on framework mapping and shared control implementation.

Examples

  • Mapping controls so evidence serves several frameworks at once.
  • Coordinating audits to reuse evidence across frameworks.
  • Treating multi-framework compliance as one coherent program.
