PMapper Analysis
Using the PMapper tool to analyze a cloud account's IAM and discover privilege-escalation paths, building a graph of identities, permissions, and connections to surface routes an attacker could chain to gain higher access.
PMapper (Principal Mapper) is an open-source tool that models AWS IAM as a graph and analyzes it for privilege-escalation paths, sequences of allowed actions an identity could chain (assume a role, edit a policy, attach permissions) to reach broader access. Cloud security assessors use it to find IAM escalation paths that aren't obvious from individual policies, prioritize the riskiest identities, and harden IAM. It exemplifies graph-based analysis of cloud IAM risk.

Examples
- Discovering a privilege-escalation path by graphing IAM with PMapper.
- Surfacing chained actions that lead to broader access.
- Prioritizing the riskiest identities found through PMapper analysis.
