Tabletop Exercise Design
Designing tabletop exercises deliberately, scenario, participants, injects, facilitation, learning objectives, so the exercise actually tests what matters and produces durable improvements.
Designing a good tabletop is its own skill: choose a realistic scenario tied to actual risks, identify the right participants and roles, craft injects that force decisions, decide what to test (technical, communication, decision authority), and plan facilitation so the conversation stays productive. Capture findings and assign owners afterward so the exercise produces real change. As an IR-leadership topic, design is what separates tabletops that move the needle from those that feel like a box-check.
