Email and Phone Verification Limits
Email and phone verification prove control of a contact channel at a time, not legal identity, age, employment, ownership, authority, or durable possession.
Systems choose verification for a stated purpose, reverify material changes, account for reassignment and carrier or inbox compromise, and add stronger evidence when the service risk requires it.
