FIDO2/WebAuthn
FIDO2 and WebAuthn provide public-key authentication whose credential is bound to a relying party, making properly configured sign-in resistant to phishing and replay.
The authenticator signs a fresh challenge for the legitimate relying party. Hardware keys, platform authenticators, and passkeys can implement this model, with a PIN or biometric used only to unlock the authenticator locally.
